Minimize and managing dependencies
It build upon Scrum and keep Scrum cores
“A Nexus is a group of approximately three to nine Scrum Teams that work together to deliver a single product; it is a connection between people and things. A Nexus has a single Product Owner who manages a single Product Backlog from which the Scrum Teams work” (Scrum.org )
It still base in 3 pillars of Scrum (Transparency, Inspect and Adapt) to give team have opportunities to change process, project structure or communication across teams
Nexus is used with 3-9 Scrum teams


Nexus extends Scrum in the following ways:
- Accountabilities: have a Nexus Integration Team to ensures Integrated Increment every Sprint. (PO.SM, and Members)
- Events: Events are appended to, placed around, or replace regular Scrum events to augment them. A Nexus Sprint Goal is the objective for the Sprint.
- Artifacts: Still same, One Single Product Backlog. A Sprint Backlog is created to make transparency in which items team working on.
Events still use timebox and follow Scrum Guide.

Nexus Sprint Planning
- Product Owner will introduce all teams purpose of Sprint align with product goal
- Goal of each team will align with Nexus Sprint goal
- Each team will do visible their sprint backlog and dependencies
Nexus Daily Scrum
- Each Scrum team still have their own Scrum Daily
- Nexus Daily Scrum will have representatives from each team to detect cross team issue and dependencies
Nexus Sprint Review
- Same as Sprint Review in Scrum but all teams will join in one event at the end of Sprint
- Visible progress towards product goal
- Collaboration and get feedbacks from stakeholders
Nexus Sprint Retrospective
- Besides scrum team retrospective , will have addition Nexus Sprint Retrospective for whole sprint retros.
- In Nexus retros will focus in issues and communication across teams
